"The number of people in our churches is not the important factor as to whether or not we are successful churches. Success is determined by God’s faithfulness, by the calling of God’s Spirit in our midst and our willingness to follow Christ no matter where he leads. It may be that the next greatest awakening in our nation will happen, not in the big-box, mega churches that dot our city scapes. It may be that the next great movement of Christ’s Spirit will happen in churches just like yours, just like mine."
